Ingredients

  • 2 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup Italian seasoned breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (193°C).
  2. Pound chicken breasts to an even thickness (about 1/2 inch).
  3. In one bowl, mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. In another bowl, drizzle olive oil over the chicken.
  4. Coat each breast in olive oil, then dredge in breadcrumb mixture.
  5. Place the breaded chicken in the air fryer basket and cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  6. Add marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese on top of each piece.
  7. Return to the air fryer for an additional 3-5 minutes until cheese is melted.
  8. Let rest for a few minutes before serving.
