  • ¼ teaspoon baking powder

  • ⅓ cup vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 8 oz cream cheese (at room temp)
  • ¼ cup granulated white sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • orange food coloring

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and line an 8 x 8 baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. In one bowl, mix granulated sugar, all purpose flour, cocoa powder, salt, baking powder, eggs, vegetable oil, and vanilla until combined.
  3. In another bowl, blend cream cheese with sugar and vanilla; add an egg and enough orange food coloring to reach your desired shade.
  4. Pour half of the brownie batter into the dish, top with the cream cheese mixture, then pour on the remaining brownie batter and swirl together.
  5. Bake for about 30 minutes or until set.
