- 2 pounds ground beef
- 1 bell pepper, chopped
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1/2 cup celery, chopped
- 1 jalapeno, finely chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 14 1/2 ounces diced tomatoes
- 3 ounces tomato paste
- 2 tablespoons chili powder
- 1 tablespoon cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon oregano
- 2 teaspoons paprika
- 1 cup bone broth
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Cheddar cheese, for topping
Instructions
- Cook the turkey bacon in a large skillet over medium-high heat until crispy. Drain and set aside.
- In the same skillet, sauté onions, celery, and bell pepper until crisp-tender. Add ground beef and cook until browned.
- Stir in jalapeno and garlic; cook for an additional minute before adding chili powder, cumin, oregano, and paprika.
- Mix back in the turkey bacon along with tomato paste, diced tomatoes, salt, and pepper. Stir well.
