Ingredients

- 6 cloves garlic (minced)
- 14 oz can crushed tomatoes
- 6 oz can tomato paste
- 14 oz can tomato sauce
- 2 ½ cups low-sodium chicken broth
- 8 oz mozzarella cheese (shredded)
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a large heavy-bottom pot, heat oil over medium-high heat. Add Italian sausage, ground beef, and onions; cook until browned (about 8 minutes). Stir in garlic and sauté for another 1-2 minutes.
- Add tomato paste, crushed tomatoes, tomato sauce, chicken broth, fennel seeds, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer for about 20 minutes.
