- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup strawberry jam
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp milk (as needed for consistency)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine warm milk and instant yeast; let sit until frothy. In another bowl, mix flour, sugar, and salt. Combine melted butter and egg with the yeast mixture, then blend into dry ingredients until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface until smooth (about 5–7 minutes). Place in a greased bowl, cover it, and let rise for about 60 minutes until doubled.
- Prepare the cheesecake filling by mixing cream cheese, sugar, vanilla extract, chopped strawberries, and strawberry jam until smooth.
- Roll out the risen dough into a rectangle (16×24 inches), spread the cheesecake filling over it evenly.
- Mix softened butter with brown sugar and cinnamon; sprinkle over the filling.
- Roll up tightly from one long edge into a log shape and slice into 12 pieces. Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Cover rolls with a towel and allow to rise again for about 30 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for approximately 25 minutes until golden brown.
